Career Development: Example Participant Objectives

Typical for the member of staff would be:

  • To understand their underlying personality, values, desires, and skills.
  • The types of work roles that most clearly suit their personal needs/desires.
  • To be able to effectively prepare an internal application and successfully interview for applying to advertised internal vacancies.
  • To have confidence to perform at their peak and effectively compete within the internal market.
  • These objectives can be tailored to the audience or in one-to-one discussions with the individual being coached.
