Active Coaching the Bodes Way
Traditional coaching applies academic models, and theoretical constructs to practical working life situations. They do little to tackle reality within the business context. The utility of one-to-one coaching is usually based on the experience and interpersonal abilities of the coach themselves. With largely (though not solely) a mixture of academic staff and failed business professionals, bad or impractical practise, leading to reduced effectiveness.
Our methodology is via observation, understanding the individual (personality, coaching preference, values system and operational modes) in practical situations. We therefore do not have a standardised ‘one fits all’ methodology. It is therefore based on the skill of the coach themselves.
